Tim Scott Bolton
A landscape painter in both oils and watercolours whose love of travel, especially to India and the Middle East puts him firmly in the Orientalist tradition.
He is also renowned for his mainly commissioned paintings of country houses and rivers. Recently he has produced a series of river plans – namely the Scottish rivers Carron and Lochy and the Irish Bundorragha river and he has made prints of these.
Until 1984, he was a Land Agent in England and Kenya but then studied painting part time at the Hammersmith College of Art under Ruskin Spear and then he went to the Heatherley.
Exhibitions include the Mathaf, Indar Pasricha, Malcolm Innes and Tryon Galleries in London and the Maglis Gallery in Dubai.
Collections include: H.M the Queen, HRH the Prince Of Wales, The National Trust, the late Duke of Devonshire, The Duke of Wellington, Sir Richard Branson and Viscount Rothemere. |
