Raymond Watson

Raymond Watson is a well-known British artist, working mostly in watercolour.

He specialises in ornithological subjects, particularly garden birds in their natural habitat. His work has been influenced by Archibald Thorburn and George Edward Lodge. Many of his paintings have been reproduced by Royle & Co for their greetings cards. The Tryon Gallery has shown his work over a number of years.
